WSJ: Virtual schools

My most recent assignment for the Wall Street Journal brought me to the home of three siblings taking classes online for a story about the rise of virtual schools in the United States. My marching orders were to go beyond the ‘face behind a laptop’ picture and contextualize them, put them at home and highlight the unique aspects of attending school remotely. I think the banister picture and the one of the girl reading on the floor accomplish that fairly well.
