A pretty interesting assignment brought me up to Sunrise on Mt. Rainier this morning. The place has been closed since September so definitely some nice solace happening up there. Boarded up windows on the lodge, not a soul in sight, and the accumulating rubble on the road fed a strong Cormac McCarthy vibe.
